Black Panther’s Shuri Finally Gets Her Own Comic Written By A Black Woman
Wakanda’s own Princess and resident genius Shuri is finally getting a solo comic book run! And its being written by a black woman. Today during San Diego Comic Con writer Nnedi Okorafor dropped the cover and it is amazing! Okorafor is an American of Nigerian and Jamaica descent, professor and award-winning author with a focus on sci-fi and Afrofuturism tales.
They’re keeping ,out information hush-hush but Issue #1 will be dropping in October of 2018 so be on the lookout. And until then enjoy the beautiful cover art by Sam Spratt who did the album cover for Janelle Monae’s Electric Lady album.
